Deep Snow and Freezing Fog, New Forest - December 3rd, 2010 (Pt 2)
The hoar frost was quite pronounced at Burley. The bare branches of a recently-burned area of gorse had a particularly large amount. Some of the needles of ice were an inch long:
A golf flag attracted some of the frost too:
The mixture of fog and blue sky gave a very 'Arctic' feel to the air. Temperatures were aroun -6°C here:

Near the village, an old tractor provided a traditional scene (I took a similar image in January's snow):
On the way home I passed through a local frost hollow. It was extremely cold here, with freezing fog, and everything was coevered in frost, ice or snow:
