March 29th: Northerly airstream showers

In complete contrast to the previous day, we were back into a northerly airstream with crystal clear skies and some very photogenic skies. The day didn't produce any thunderstorms but a few classic anvils.

A close up of the above anvil. Moments after I took this picture, a strong dust-devil hit my car. It rocked the car quite violently before moving off into the woods behind me, sending the trees into a frenzy, but quickly dying.
