RIAT 2012 (Part 3)

According to the commentators, this is a rare sight; a US F/A-18 'Super Hornet' lining up on the same runway as a Russian Mig-29 'Fulcrum':

The Mig-29 was from the Polish Air Force, and this was the first time I've seen one at RIAT since 2006. A traditionally smokey take-off from those powerful engines:
